Why I LRP
To try things outside of my comfort zone like leading and public speaking and see how they go in a relatively safe and non work based environment, for escapism from real life problems and most importantly to be outdoors with some of the best friends I have ever made.
Best IC Moments. For Heda 'An:
Chilling on camp with Hamta, watching the Faction singing, dancing and having fun by the campfire. Alongside heartfelt moments with Ma, Papa Shyshack and Vin to name just a few.
Favourite Monstering Moment:
Far too many but the ones that spring to mind are spirit walking players away and seeing the look of panic on their faces, sitting on Lord Jhereg's throne and surveying the carnage and the Gruffs and Trolls encounters.
Claim to Fame/Moments of note :
Eating Chickens foot soup as a vegetarian due to not wanting to IC offend our dinner hosts and not breaking character to vomit after trying to wear the evil Reisende Hat.

Why I LRP
I LARP because it offers me the chance to have adventures that are just not possible in real life. I love the thrill of facing world ending challenges and the chance to be a genuine hero. As well as the big moments I love spending time getting quietly lost in the story that is evolving around me.
Best IC moment for Janick 'Papa'' Shyshack
There are so many to choose from. But my favorite moment has to be serving dinner for the faction and visitors, there is nothing better than seeing everyone smiling, talking like one large happy family.
Favorite Monstering Moment
Having played the game for so long there are lots to choose from. I think it has to be every time I have had the privilege of Monstering for our younger players. The passion and immersiveness that young players have is always inspiring
Claim to Fame
It is amazing how many opportunities LARP can lead to. I have friends who have found careers, partners, life long friendships through the hobby. It is because of my LARP experiences that I ended up being part of the cast for a Transformers movie.

Why I LARP
For me LARP has been a part of my life for over 25 years. Its provided an escapism from the stresses of real life and allowed me to meet amazing people and make lifelong friendships. I love the chance to do things I wouldnt in real life. After so long in the hobby I know love encouraging new players and providing fun and excitement for people.
Best IC moment
My favourite moment as Hamta has to be the conversations with the Luns in particular Peepo Luns. The amount of conflict since the declaration of Genghis has been intense and I have loved every minute.
Favourite Monstering Moment
I love monstering as it gives me the opportunity to provide games for other people. I think my favourite moment has to be when playing a ritualist and sacrificing one of the contributors who wasnt aware it was coming, The shock on their face and outrage on the players faces was a real buzz.
Claim to fame
I have been coming to CP since its outset and have missed only two main events in over 25 years.
